Located just 12 km from Dalaman airport Sarigerme was almost unheard of until last year. This sleepy town has big plans and boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey. Sarigerme beach, which extends for almost four miles, has been designated as a National Park conservation area and has fantastic views and a lovely sea breeze most of the summer.

The town is still largely undeveloped with only a few small shops, restaurants and bars at present. It is set just 800m from the beach with a shuttle 'train' providing regular transport between the two.

The Turkish government have allocated a massive budget to develop and promote the Sarigerme area, their aim is to create an exclusive tourist destination. The Hilton Golf & Spa Resort Worldwide opened in July this year, and is positioned between one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey and the town centre.

Construction of the planned 18 hole luxury Hilton golf course has now commenced in Sarigerme representing the beginning of a serious investment in leisure and tourism in the Dalaman area. Construction of a 1200 berth marina will commence later on this year, with further golf courses also planned.
